Cherry is no stranger to the field of healthcare, with 34 years of experience in the field, her expertise and compassion for seniors brought her to be the leader she is today. She began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant before becoming a Registered Nurse, bringing hands-on expertise and a deep understanding of patient care. In 2016, Cherry joined Golden Horizons as the Executive Director, and in 2020, she earned her Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) certification in Minnesota through the Care Providers program. With extensive knowledge in senior care, Cherry excels in collaboration and leadership. Her passion for caregiving began at a young age when she helped care for her grandmother, instilling in her a lifelong commitment to supporting caregivers and improving the quality of life for seniors. Cherry prioritizes building trust and fostering meaningful relationships with residents and their families. She believes in clear, open communication to ensure continuity of care, empowering families to feel informed and supported throughout their loved one’s journey.
Personal Life of Cherry:
Outside of work, Cherry has been married for 32 years and has two children, all who have worked or helped out at Golden Horizons alongside her. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, embracing the balance between professional dedication and personal fulfillment.
