Jenni Sykes, RN/Administrator   

Starting her career with Golden Horizons as a nurse over 11 years ago, Jenni Sykes, Administrator of Golden Horizons in Ida Grove, is passionate about creating a warm, resident-centered home while ensuring compliance with state regulations. With a heart for senior care and a commitment to excellence, Jenni has a strong background in facility operations, staff leadership, and resident advocacy. In her time at Golden Horizons she has successfully improved occupancy rates, enhanced care programs, and strengthened staff retention. Her hands-on approach fosters a workplace that prioritizes employee satisfaction and exceptional resident care. Jenni believes that assisted living should feel like home, and she works to ensure that every resident receives the dignity, care, and engagement they deserve. 

Personal Life of Jenni:

In her home life, as a wife and mother of two teenagers, Jenni enjoys volunteering with groups related to her children’s activities and serving her community as an RN with the Odebolt Ambulance Squad. She has various hobbies – beekeeping, growing flowers, as well as raising chickens, geese and other feathered friends which she shares with others.
